Job Description Head Enterprise Integration & Platform Engineering Permanent – Paris (Hybrid) Our global end client is a CAC40 company. They are now looking for their Head Enterprise Integration & Platform Engineering. English speaking only is required. Role Summary Lead the global integration and API engineering function, overseeing a distributed team of approximately 25 specialists across architecture, engineering, and operations. You will drive the modernization of the company’s integration landscape, manage multiple cloud and on-prem technologies, and ensure the reliability and scalability of mission‑critical interfaces supporting global business operations. Key Responsibilities Integration Strategy & Architecture Define enterprise integration standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks. Shape the transition toward API‑first, microservices, and event‑driven architectures. Align platform and interface roadmaps with large‑scale digital transformation programs. Platform Ownership Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid) API Gateways (Azure API Management, Apigee, or Kong) iPaaS solutions such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft Anypoint Legacy middleware or ESB components as needed Lead platform upgrades, automation initiatives, performance engineering, and reliability improvements. Delivery Leadership Manage end‑to‑end delivery of integration projects across regions. Coordinate internal engineering teams and external delivery partners. Standardize delivery practices to ensure consistency, predictability, and quality across Build and Run activities. Operational Excellence Oversee global 24/7 operational support, incident response, and service‑level performance. Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and lifecycle management across integration assets. Ensure strong security, compliance, and observability practices. Global Team & Vendor Management Lead and develop a multicultural team of ~25 people spanning architects, engineers, analysts, and support functions. Manage key vendor relationships, MSP performance, licensing, and technology budgets. Partner with senior technology leaders, product teams, and business units to define priorities and ensure alignment. Required Experience Leadership experience in enterprise integration, API management, or middleware engineering. Proven ability to run both platform operations and project delivery at scale. Hands‑on knowledge of modern integration technologies (cloud iPaaS, API gateways, messaging, workflow orchestration). Experience managing distributed engineering teams and external service providers. Strong architectural understanding of cloud services, security, and modern application integration patterns. Ability to define roadmaps, enforce governance, and drive enterprise alignment.
