Senior Corporate Functions Risk Officer

Role Summary

The “Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Corporate functions risk” department is part of the “Risk, Audit, and Compliance” and contribute to our control accountability, preserving the value assets and reputation of the company by:

- Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and control
- Safeguarding the welfare and safety of all staff and maintaining the delivery of products and/or services at acceptable predefined levels, in the interest of Euronext’s stakeholders in times of a disruptive event

The open position is at Group level and will be in close relation with several stakeholders (local coordinators, local BCM & risk managers, local Chief Technical Offis ) based in all Euronext locations (Paris, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen ).

Within the Business Continuity Management & Corporate functions risk team, the Senior Corporate functions risk officer will support the Head of BCM & Corporate functions risk, such as:

- Define and improve BCM (Business Continuity Management) & ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) frameworks
- Define and follow up of the implementation roadmap for all Euronext entities, including support and training for local coordinators, and quality checks
- Prepare strategic risk assessments and be the point of contact for risk management on some strategic projects
- Coordinate operational work in the team, including organization (actions and planning follow up, internal team meeting preparation), quality check and review (indicators, documentation )
- Contribute in the development of BCM & Risk expertise and culture in Euronext
- Contribute to external projects (such as finance working group)
- Coordinate risk management works for transversal Corporate Functions and support other Risk Managers when needed
- Work with team-based risk coordinators, support first-line development of risk profiles, through periodic reviews.
- Assist, advise and challenge management in Corporate Functions on managing risks by identifying, analysing and advising on mitigation actions.
- Animate regular committees to monitor the compliance of all entities with Group BCM & Risk guidelines
- Assist in the development, management and monitoring of key risk indicators and promoting risk awareness across the Euronext Group.
- Participate in various projects impacting the Corporate Functions scope.
- Build report and participate in regular meetings with regulators and the State

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Excellent knowledge of risk management principles and ability to challenge operational risk.
- Knowledge of the company’s markets, operations and IT is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, deep dive on key issues and risk processes to maintain a group-wide approach
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and empower a small and international team and organize their work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent English required.
