Corporate Functions Risk Apprentice

Job Profile

Within the Corporate functions Risk Management Team, with team members working from different sites (Paris, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen, Milan, Rome ), operating across the Group, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the Risk Manager, will be located in Paris. The apprentice will assist the team mainly in the administration of the central risk register: account management, configuration in the tool, user support, link with the editor, documentation and training on the tool, ensuring data quality (structured, harmonized and up-to-date data). In addition, he will also assist the team in: - the risk management process: ensuring a good implementation of the current risk policies and guidelines, in improving dashboards and reporting, data exploitation from the risk register and suggesting new ideas to facilitate and optimize the interactions between teams, - the evaluation or review of specific risk assessment for the corporate functions perimeter (i.e. IT (incl.InfoSec), HR, Procurement, Portfolio management, Compliance, Stats, Web, Legal and General Services) In doing so, the apprentice will interact with various stakeholders from business, risk coordinators in departments, and other risk managers.

Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and support the Risk Management Tool, including user supporting material
- Support on update on documentation on the risk framework (policies, process, guidelines ) with risk stakeholders.
- Assists in the update and monitoring of risk registers of the Corporate Functions scope.
- Assist in developing reporting for improved communication enterprise wide
- Assist in developing analytics on risks, with a view for value-added input

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Studies focused on risk management (especially operational risk management)
- Knowledge of the markets, operations and / or IT an advantage.
- Organized, structured and rigorous
- Self-starter, confident
- Relationship building
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to discuss risk in an approachable manner.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
- Fluency in English required
