Senior Industrial Project Manager

**Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?** The Project Manager (PM) oversees a large industrial investment project (e.g. Cold Repair of a float line or large new transformation line) through all stages: Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. The primary responsibilities include: - **Safety**: The PM is accountable for the safety of all project-related activities, striving for a "Zero Accident" policy according to Saint-Gobain standards. This covers the work conducted by any subcontractors. - **Resources**: The PM is in charge of forming the project team, employing external resources such as freelancers if necessary. He/She is also responsible for contracting external engineering companies in cooperation with Glass Central Engineering & Central Purchasing. Finally, He/She oversees the attribution of erection works to construction subcontractors. - **Cost control**: The PM sets the project's budget, optimizing it relative to the scope of work. He/She ensures a close follow-up of the expenses, aided by a cost controller. He/She implements and maintains a change management process. - **Quality control**: The PM monitor Project activities to ensure that the industrial asset will meet the expected performance level. He/She is responsible for thorough adherence to the Saint-Gobain Project Execution Manual and creating a detailed Return of EXperience report post-project. - **Schedule control**: The PM creates a comprehensive timeline for all stages (engineering, procurement, and construction) and identifies the critical path, utilizing risk analysis to prevent delivery setbacks. - **Additional project duties**: The PM is responsible for the regular reporting of his/her project (monthly steering committee, monthly report), with a focus on Risk Management. - **Other tasks**: in addition to the usual project activities, and depending on the workload, the PM might be involved in other activities such as: - Support to local PM, in case of project locally managed by a plant. - Conceptual design, costing and payback calculation of new projects. **Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?** - **Education** - Engineer (bachelor or master degree) - **Knowledge /Technical competencies** - Significant experience in Project Management of large industrial project - Good knowledge of several engineering disciplines (process, civils, mechanical, electrical ) - English skills: full verbal and written proficiency.
