Overview
This is an opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join an international organisation in a broad, hands-on accounting role. The position would suit someone looking to grow their post-qualification career who is looking to deepen their technical expertise, build on their international experience and work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries.
The role is responsible for
overseeing and completing day-to-day accounting activities
, ensuring accurate financial reporting for local legal entities, and acting as a key link between local operations and international finance teams.
Fluency in both French and English is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close activities
- Ensure accurate preparation of management reporting, statutory accounts and group reporting packages
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances
- Manage local VAT, payroll-related
taxes and statutory filings in line with local regulations - Liaise closely with shared service centres to ensure smooth processing of AP and AR activities
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Assist local management with finance-related projects and ad hoc analysis
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls and documentation
- Work collaboratively with international finance teams across multiple jurisdictions
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
- Approximately 3–5 years' experience in a structured, international environment
- Experience working across borders or with international stakeholders
- Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting
- Exposure to local tax requirements including VAT
- Comfortable working with shared service centres or centralised finance teams
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Proactive, organised and keen to learn, with a strong attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Language Requirements
- Fully fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable operating in a bilingual, international working environment
