Overview

As an Account Manager at SBS, you will be a quota-carrying individual contributor responsible for managing a portfolio of existing banking clients in the French market. Your mission is to strengthen long-term relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account development.

You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, aligning their business objectives with SBS's suite of solutions—including Core Banking, Digital Engagement, Digital Lending, Regulatory Reporting, Payments (e.g., Wero), Open Banking, and AI-powered innovations. This role requires a consultative mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for helping clients succeed in their digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management & Growth

  • Own the end-to-end commercial relationship for a defined set of existing clients
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive client retention and revenue expansion
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client needs and SBS offerings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and executive-level stakeholders
  • Lead client meetings, QBRs, and solution reviews to ensure satisfaction and uncover new needs

Sales Execution & Forecasting

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals and demos
  • Lead or support responses to RFx and contract renewals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in CRM tools (Salesforce)

Strategic Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies with client feedback
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity to inform account strategy
  • Represent SBS at client events and industry forums to reinforce brand presence and thought leadership
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software account management or B2B sales
  • Proven success in managing and growing accounts, ideally in banking or fintech
  • Strong understanding of digital banking, SaaS models, and financial services technologies
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
