Procurement Director Role - Renewables - Offshore Wind - Hybrid Flex (Paris, France)
This company is a 50/50 joint venture and a global leader in fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind. Both companies share the vision in which renewables, particularly offshore wind, play a key role in the global energy transition. There mission is to make offshore wind one of the main sources of renewable energy by delivering more efficient and sustainable wind energy solutions.
We are currently looking for Procurement Director for France to be based in Paris.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement department for 2 offshore projects in France in a global matrix organization
- Be an active part of the Direct Materials procurement Management team, and represent this towards internal and external Stakeholders
- Lead your management team (6) and ensure development and implementation of global commodity strategies across modules and sub-modules, through cross-functional commodity teams, in order to create and capture end-to-end value
- Take supplier relationship management to the next level, unlocking full value chain optimization opportunities in collaboration with suppliers and partners
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to ensure effective strategy development and execution
Qualifications
- You have 8+ years of Procurement Experience, including leading cross-functional Teams and demanding Stakeholders
- You have 8+ years of Leadership Experience, leading cultural diverse teams in various positions
- You have 5+ years experience in EPC projects
- You have a strong theoretical background within Procurement, Engineering, Finance or similar
- You have extensive experience of budget and KPI/target ownership
