AI Solutions Engineer | Foundation Models for Biology | Paris, London, Berlin (hybrid)

I'm partnered with an AI-first life sciences company building one of the world's most advanced biological foundation models transforming how scientists and engineers solve complex biological problems through large-scale machine learning.

We're looking for a customer-focused AI Solutions Engineer to act as the bridge between cutting-edge models and real-world applications. You'll combine Python and cloud expertise with communication and problem-solving skills to help researchers integrate next-gen AI into their workflows.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and implement intuitive, well-documented Python SDKs and APIs.
  • Partner with customers to architect and deploy solutions across AWS/GCP/Azure and containerized environments, guiding them through troubleshooting too.
  • Advise on MLOps, model deployment patterns, and data workflow integration.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, code samples, and reference architectures.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into clear product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Business Development teams.

What You'll Bring

  • Advanced Python skills and strong software engineering fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications and ML models in cloud environments (AWS preferred) using Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of software design, SDK/API integration, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication across scientific and engineering audiences.
  • Experience in pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare environments (ideal).
  • MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Bonus

  • Familiarity with PyTorch, JAX, Hugging Face, and AWS ML services.
  • Experience optimizing models for low-latency inference.
  • Open-source contributions and/or startup experience.
