Prelude is on a mission to improve onboarding and trust for our customers. We help companies verify and onboard their users more efficiently, with less friction and greater security — ultimately boosting conversion and reducing cost. Today, our flagship product focuses on authentication: enabling businesses to send OTP codes with the best price-to-conversion ratio available by dynamically selecting the most effective channel (e.g. SMS vs WhatsApp), while blocking costly spam attacks that traditional providers often overlook.
Although Prelude was founded just two years ago, we've already achieved healthy financials and strong product-market fit. Our authentication offering is just the beginning. The Prelude team started with four former Zenly team members, a social network acquired by Snapchat in 2017. We created Prelude in response to a problem we had there: the current SMS authentication offering is too expensive, of poor quality and offers little to no protection against spam. We believe that having a small team of committed and skilled people with a flat hierarchical organization is the best way to build a tech company. It forces us to focus on what matters and only on what matters: delivering value to our customers. We also believe that at our current stage, we need to be face-to-face in our offices in Opera, so that ideas can flow freely and collaboration is spontaneous.
About the roleAs a Velocity Account Executive at Prelude, you'll play an essential role in supporting our sales efforts and helping to grow our customer base. You'll be working closely with experienced Account Executives to learn the ins and outs of B2B SaaS sales and build the foundation for a successful sales career.
You'll help manage inbound interest, qualify leads, and assist in outreach efforts to prospective customers. Your work will be highly cross-functional — giving you exposure to Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams — and will help shape the way we grow our GTM motion.

What you'll do :- Help manage inbound leads and qualify prospects for fit and readiness.
- Support the sales team in executing outbound outreach campaigns.
- Assist in scheduling and preparing for sales calls and product demos.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities in our CRM.
- Learn to identify pain points and map Prelude's solution to customer needs.
- Collaborate with senior team members to craft personalised outreach and proposals.
- Gain exposure to the full sales lifecycle and contribute to closing new business.
- You have 3–4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in tech or SaaS.
- You're eager to learn and grow your sales skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
- You are naturally curious and excited to understand how tech products work.
- You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling many tasks.
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy engaging with people.
- You're fluent in English (French is a plus).
- You're excited about Prelude's mission and want to be part of a small, dynamic team.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS company or a tech startup.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
- Basic understanding of APIs, SMS, or authentication technologies.
- Competitive compensation package with generous uncapped commission and BSPCEs.
- Hybrid working style: 4 days in-office (Opéra, Paris), 1 day remote + 4 weeks of work-from-anywhere per year.
