 FrontrowVR is an early-stage venture bridging the gap between premier performing arts and immersive technology. We are building a platform to stream live theatrical performances in high-fidelity 
Stereoscopic VR180
, giving remote audiences the "best seat in the house." We are moving beyond gimmicks to create a broadcast-grade, cinematic emotional experience.

The Opportunity
 We are looking for a 
Lead Technical Partner
 & 
VR Filmmaker
 based in Paris. This is not a standard freelance gig. We are seeking a long-term collaborator to define the visual language of the company, design the live-streaming pipeline, and eventually lead the technical production team.

What You Will Do:

  • Pipeline Architecture:
     Design and test the end-to-end workflow: Capture (VR180) → Stitching → Encoding → Live Streaming (RTMP/SRT) to VR Headsets.
  • Production:
     Act as the lead cinematographer for pilot productions in Parisian theaters (handling camera placement, lighting for VR, and audio integration).
  • Innovation:
     Solve complex challenges related to low-light capture, latency, and stereoscopic depth.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
     Proven track record in shooting 
    VR180
     (Stereoscopic) content. 360° monoscopic experience is secondary.
  • Gear (Critical):
     You must own or have unrestricted access to professional VR camera rigs (e.g., 
    Canon EOS R5 C Dual Fisheye
    , 
    Z CAM K2 Pro
    , 
    FM Duo
    , or similar). 
    Consumer 360 cameras are not suitable for this role.
  • Live Streaming:
     Deep knowledge of OBS, vMix, FFmpeg, and streaming protocols (HLS, RTMP, SRT).
  • Location:
     Must be based in 
    Paris
     or Île-de-France.
  • Mindset:
     Entrepreneurial spirit. You want to build a product, not just execute a shoot.
  • English speaker
