As the company expands commercially across the UK and Northern Europe, they seek a
strategic, hunter-oriented Account Manager
to build and grow long-term partnerships with major industry players.
About the Role
This is a
hunter role
for an experienced, self-driven sales professional who thrives in technical B2B environments. You will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead qualification to deal closure — targeting large satellite and aerospace organizations.
You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver complex solutions that combine hardware, software, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a
sales plan
focused on new business acquisition across France and the UK. - Identify and pursue opportunities with
satellite operators, satellite manufacturers and satellite system integrators. - Manage
complex sales cycles
, coordinating with internal technical experts to deliver tailored proposals. - Lead
commercial negotiations
from initial discussions to contract signing. - Maintain an accurate and up-to-date
sales pipeline
, reporting to management regularly. - Represent the company at
industry events, trade shows, and conferences
across France and Europe. - Gather market intelligence to influence product strategy and pricing.
Ideal Profile
- 8+ years
of successful sales experience in the
space, aerospace, or defence industry
. - Proven track record of
closing complex, high-value B2B deals
(typically €200k+). - Background working for or selling to major industry players (e.g. Airbus, Thales, Safran, OHB, SSTL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in
English and French
. - Strong technical acumen: able to understand and articulate the value of sophisticated hardware/software systems.
- Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, and driven by results.
- Based in France, with the ability to travel 10–20% across Europe.
