ALPHA10X is hiring a Staff AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI systems at the intersection of predictive modeling, LLMs, and agentic frameworks. Reporting to the CTO, you will be the technical leader of a strong team of AI engineers and collaborate closely with product, data, and software teams. Your mission: ensure our AI stack is robust, scalable, and fully integrated into the ALPHA10X platform. You'll lead efforts in predictive data science, MLOps, and advanced LLM development—including agent-based architectures and multi-agent orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI System Design & Delivery: Lead the development of robust, scalable, and production-ready AI systems, including LLM-based components and predictive models.
  • Agentic Frameworks: Architect and implement agent-based and multi-agent systems to power intelligent workflows and reasoning engines within the platform.
  • LLM Engineering: Oversee and contribute to fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation, and deployment of large language models tailored to domain-specific tasks.
  • MLOps & Reliability: Implement end-to-end pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across environments.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with Data, Software, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into the platform.
  • Team Growth & Mentorship: Mentor and lead technically a high-performing AI engineering team of 5 PhDs and engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and fast-paced experimentation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Hard Skills

  • 5+ years in AI engineering, including hands-on work with production-grade predictive ML models and LLM systems

  • Multi-agent architecture: Experience with prompt evaluation, LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and controllers-executors architecture
  • Expert in Python and PyTorch; proficient with LangGraph and agentic frameworks
  • Strong grasp of MLOps best practices: CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, and retraining
  • Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs & Reasoning for the integration of structured knowledge (e.g., Neo4j, RDF, graph-based reasoning) with LLMs

  • Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms

  • Soft skills

  • Proven experience leading small technical teams and mentoring engineers

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in startups or fast-paced environments
