From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We're now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and impact.

Our People Team
The People Team at Joko is building the foundation for how we grow, hire, and support our teammates.
We're not just about HR, we're shaping the culture, processes, and tools that make Joko a place people love to work.
You'll join the People team, led by Déborah (VP People), focused on attracting top candidates, running fair and efficient hiring processes, and giving every candidate a best-in-class experience.
We collaborate closely with all teams across Joko, constantly iterating and improving, because we never settle for the status quo.
What You Will Do
As a
People & Talent Intern
, your mission is to help us hire smarter and faster, while making every candidate interaction feel human.
You'll work on real hiring challenges, contribute to process improvement, and support the team in running a seamless and data-informed recruiting engine.
Your Work Will Revolve Around Three Main Pillars
Talent Acquisition & Data Insights:
You'll be fully involved in the daily rhythm of our hiring operations.
From crafting compelling job descriptions to reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating feedback, you'll ensure every step of the process runs smoothly.
You'll maintain our ATS (Ashby) with precision, keeping data clean and reliable, and you'll help extract insights to guide better decisions.
This experience will give you a strong grasp of end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
You'll help make every candidate's journey at Joko memorable.
You'll ensure our communication stays authentic, kind, and clear, from the first outreach to the final feedback.
You'll also take part in strengthening our employer brand by showing what makes Joko unique: our people, our values, and our ways of working.
Through storytelling, social media initiatives, and creative projects, you'll help us showcase Joko as a place where people love to grow.
Recruitment Strategy & Continuous Improvement
You won't just execute, you'll help us evolve.
You'll bring new ideas to refine our sourcing strategy, identify fresh channels to attract diverse profiles, and suggest ways to make our processes more efficient.
You'll analyze what works and what doesn't, and propose simple, actionable improvements.
By combining curiosity, structure, and creativity, you'll play a key role in scaling how Joko finds and welcomes great people.
Who We're Looking For
- You're a people person who loves structure as much as creativity
- You're organized, proactive, and pay attention to details, but you also know how to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- You care about people, and you believe that hiring is not just about filling roles, but about building teams and culture
- Are looking for a final-year internship (end-of-studies)
- Are currently pursuing a degree at a top business school, social sciences university, or program with a specialization in Human Resources or People Management
You'll Be a Great Fit If You
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills (English & French)
- Are both analytical and empathetic; you like data, but you also read people well
- Are curious, resourceful, and not afraid to challenge
- Want to grow your skills in recruitment, HR, and people operations in a high-growth startup.

- Flexible remote (only to specific fully remote positions): If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget.
- Work from anywhere (full-time only): Want to spend a month in Italy while working? Full-time employees can work from most countries in the world for up to 3 months per year.

Our hiring process
- Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or a recruiter.
- Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you'd join, or colleagues from other teams).
Step 2 – Role-specific assessments
For non-tech roles: Take-home case study followed by a 45 min debrief. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to the role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).
For tech roles: Live technical interviews:
Coding interview + System design interview
For research internships, an additional round may involve analyzing and presenting a research paper
Step 3 – Founders interview (45 min): Conversation with two of our founders.
- References: Up to five calls with former colleagues or managers.
You may also be invited for coffee with team members to get a feel for our culture.
