Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales team, you are responsible for the development of sales within your assigned territory, working with OEMs, key accounts, end users, and Engineering partners.
Your role is both commercial, technical, and strategic, with a strong field presence and an active contribution to the overall growth of PCM. Your main responsibilities include:
Business Development & Customer Relationship Management
- Develop direct sales with OEMs, key accounts, end users, and Engineering partners
- Actively visit customers in your territory and ensure close commercial follow‑up
- Prospect new customers and develop new markets
- Provide responsive, professional, and proactive customer support through tailored offers
- Participate in promotional activities: trade shows, Lunch & Learns, seminars, and customer events
- Meet with high‑level stakeholders (strategic clients, institutions, associations, lobbies) to support business development
Offers, Sales & Internal Coordination
- Select and configure the most suitable equipment to meet customer requirements
- Prepare pump offers and, occasionally, spare parts offers
- Review and submit technical offers when required
- Ensure the review of technical and commercial offers in the CRM
- Control and supervise all offers and operations related to PCM activities within your territory
- Register orders in the CRM and coordinate with the Customer Service / Sales Administration team to monitor delivery lead times
- Contribute to the development of service sales, in coordination with the France Sales Manager Services
- Develop spare parts sales with sales support
- Participate in the development of Food Systems, in coordination with IA France
Management, Reporting & Analysis
- Understand, implement, and manage marketing and sales development plans for your territory
- Monitor all offers within your scope, across all PCM activities
- Analyze and report project risks (technical, commercial, financial, legal)
- Ensure CRM data is accurate and up to date
- Support the Finance Department with customer payments in case of delays
- Report market trends to the ERWA Sales Manager and the Marketing team
- Provide Marketing with information on pricing, products, competitive strategies, and market practices
- Share any relevant information related to other territories with the appropriate PCM sales teams
Profile:
You have a solid technical background, gained through a successful first experience in the sale of industrial products.
You have a good command of English, both written and spoken, as well as knowledge of hydraulics (experience with elastomers is a plus).
You are motivated by solution selling, with a competitive, results‑driven mindset and a strong appetite for challenges.
Your excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, customer service orientation, and strong commercial sense are key assets for success in this role.
