Purpose of the Job
Our Senior Account Managers work alongside the Regional Account Director to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business, balancing daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
The primary areas of spend on this Consumer Healthcare account are 2D Print, Promotional items and Merchandise.
As Senior Account Manager You Will Be Responsible For
- Leading a team
- Delivering operational excellence
- Delivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these Clients
- Managing and developing key client relationships
- Managing and owning the project cycle and leading the pitch
- Achieve and excel growth targets
You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients.
This role combines pitching and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for existing clients. Strong Client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic outlook and the ability to question the norm and look outside the box.

Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Account Manager proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximizing delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our Clients
- Managing a dispersed team of Account Managers across Europe
- Working with Regional Account Director and strategic sourcing to deliver the best solutions - you will influence client thinking to produce outstanding results
- Attending meetings and taking / influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to local teams globally
- Deliver excellent service to client with a professional 'can do' attitude at all times
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Providing technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Experience in 2D Print, Promo items + Merchandise spend / category areas
- Strong Client Service experience and has built credible customer relationships at senior level
- Team management and leadership experience, ideally across multiple territories
- Excellent / Fluent English Language skills
- Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience
- Good understanding of Marketing Services concepts
- Naturally builds and maintains rapport with the client
- Is comfortable analyzing and interpreting financial data and produces accurate reports
- Works collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
- Takes a logical and systematic approach to work
- Takes a flexible approach to work and encourages others to do so
- Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members
- Can identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
- Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills
- Strong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audience
- Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
