We are seeking to recruit a Junior Private Banker for our Monaco office.
Your role- Develop and maintain long-term relationships of trust with clients. Support senior bankers and team leaders in acquiring and managing clients.
- Implement tailored investment solutions, including traditional investments and alternative products, with the support of the senior bankers and the Investment Specialists within the Pictet group.
- Execute orders, stock and forex transactions, payments and other banking operations.
- Understand, manage and complete operational and administrative processes such as account openings, account structure modifications/changes, KYC reviews and AML processes.
- Analyse portfolio positions, prepare performance evaluations and assist in the development of investment proposals and offers aligned with clients' objectives, assets and investment strategies.
- Prepare for and take part in meetings with clients and/or senior bankers.
- Understand economic and monetary developments and their impact on the performance of markets, businesses and sectors. Stay informed about events related to various markets.
- Advanced degree in economics or finance (ideally a master's degree, MBA, CIIA or CFA).
- 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, either in advisory, investment management, or client supporting roles.
- Proactive and results-oriented, strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and complex spreadsheet management, Bloomberg and other Office tools.
- Strong team spirit, flexibility and ability to collaborate with other teams.
- Strong sense of ethics aligned with Pictet's values and partnership culture.
- Fluency in French, English and Italian.
- In-depth knowledge of all financial instrument categories (derivatives, forex, equity, bonds, funds, options, futures, hedge funds, PE and RE funds, etc.).
You possess strong interpersonal skills and are accustomed to working in a team environment. In your role, you will be required to handle a large number of files and diverse topics, demonstrating flexibility, efficiency and versatility. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your adaptability and open-mindedness.
In addition to being proactive and attentive to clients' needs, you have excellent organisational and planning skills. You are also comfortable working independently and are precise in your work.
