SYKLEA is a French biotechnology company at the forefront of carbon valorization which attempts to transform CO₂ into valuable bioproducts through advanced microalgae-based processes. Our mission is to redefine how industries manage emissions by turning carbon into a resource.
We are expanding to the United States with a new facility in Vineland, New Jersey, and are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to scaling our biotechnological processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, install, and optimize biological and gas treatment processes (fermentation, photobioreactors, CO₂ capture units).
- Support commissioning and start-up of pilot and industrial units.
- Develop and implement process control and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with R&D teams in France and the U.S. for technology transfer.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Your Profile
- Master's or Ph.D. in Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in process design, commissioning, or industrial operations.
- Hands-on experience with bioprocesses, fluid systems, or gas treatment technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (French is a plus).
- Motivated by innovation and environmental impact.
