We are seeking an Industrial Leader to spearhead our transformation; a mission for a leader who breathes Industrial Excellence and thrives on the factory floor as much as in the boardroom.
The Challenge
As our Group Industrial Director, you will orchestrate the performance of multiple sites across Europe. In a high-volume, low-margin environment, your mission will be to:
- Operational Performance
: Drive and challenge production site performance, demonstrating the ability to pivot between strategic vision and operational execution. - Process Standardization
: Enforce rigor and discipline in production and flow management by implementing robust, standardized processes. - Industrial Transformation
: Orchestrate structured, data-driven industrial transformations at a European scale. - Operational leadership
: Maintain a strong field presence across European sites to build local engagement and ensure global strategic alignment. - Strategic Alignment
Define, deploy, and standardize a global Industrial strategy to maximize industrial efficiency and performance. - Knowledge Sharing
: Foster collective dynamics to share best practices and harmonize reporting across all production departments. - Continuous Improvement
: Oversee daily Quality, HSE, and Production activities with a proactive Continuous Improvement mindset. - Financial Monitoring
: Monitor operational and financial performance in partnership with Controlling; identify variances and implement corrective action plans. - Digital Transformation
: With the DSI as Lead, ensure the digitalization of industrial activities and support the Group's ERP transformation. - Safety Leadership
: Drive a cultural shift in industrial management and production safety culture across all locations.
You will directly report to the CEO and be an active member of the Executive Committee (CODIR). You will manage Site Directors (N-1) and oversight of Team Leaders (N-2).
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years in large-scale manufacturing preferably in private Label is a priority or FMCG
- Proven track record in international roles within SMEs or family-owned mid-caps
Technical & Strategic Expertise
- Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation engineering.
- Extensive experience deploying Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and driving large-scale industrial transformations.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Ability to switch between hands-on field leadership and strategic steering.
- Strong human-centric approach to driving industrial excellence and discipline.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Mobility & Commitment
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (
70% of the time
).
