Within the Core Product department, the Industry team builds a strong relationship with rights owners like Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal Music or Believe, people who produce your favorite tracks Catalog is in charge of making all their content available for users.

Your mission

• Design architecture for new types of content

• Develop APIs to serve our data internally

• Develop, maintain and monitor ingestion scripts for all kinds of content

• Develop tools for data enrichment

• Develop a back office for our internal stakeholders

• Deploy and monitor our apps, their performances, uptime and quality

• Be a technical support for the supply chain team

• Participate in the ideation process with our product managers

• Maintain the quality of the code base

• Contribute to the Community of Practice to improve Deezer backend much more

This role is ideal for someone with:

• A solid professional experience with PHP development

• Experience with large volumes of data and scalability in mind

• A first experience in Go is a plus

• Strong knowledge of PHP and best practices (SOLID, DDD, PSRs, unit tests, behat) and MySQL

• Ability to work autonomously on medium to large scale tasks

• Good experience in engineering best practices (code versioning, tests, reviews ..)

• Comfortable with kubernetes apps and docker environments

• Good written and spoken English
