We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Accounting to lead our accounting team and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and drive process improvements to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team, including recruiting, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Provide strategic insights to senior management through analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, filing requirements, and reporting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, financial planning, and cost management initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
