The Healthcare team at Lazard consists of more than 100 bankers primarily based in New York, San Francisco, Paris and London, working in an integrated manner. From Paris, the Healthcare team serves European clients in the Biopharma, Medtech, Pharma Services, and Healthcare Services. Recent transactions include Ceva shareholding reorganization, Ipsen refinancing, Galapagos' separation in two publicly traded entities and CD&R acquisition of a 50%-controlling stake in Opella.

We are seeking an intern from March 2026 for a period of 6 months. This position is based in Paris.

We'll trust you to:

• Perform detailed sector and company research
• Prepare presentation and business cases on specific situation
• Conduct strategic and finance analysis
• Assist the team in company valuations and financial modeling

You'll need to have:

• Final-year student or in the second part of a gap year from a top Business School or Engineering School, or enrolled in a Master's degree (Master 2) with a specialization in Corporate Finance / Financial Engineering
• Prior experience in the financial sector (investment banking, private equity, audit, corporate finance, etc.)
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) as well as familiarity with databases (FactSet, Mergermarket, etc.)
• You are fluent in French and English
• strong work capacity, analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong interest in the Healthcare sector.
• Corporate finance skills (financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling)
• Sector and strategic analysis skills (market analysis, competition, etc.)
• Knowledge of databases
