You will own and develop your designated customers, pro-actively driving sales and supporting sales processes. You will be responsible for developing your region and customer base directly and together with the distribution sales channels, identifying and focusing on high potential existing and new customer development.
Job Responsibilities
Account Strategy & Development
- Define and execute strategic account plans for major customers and research institutions.
- Identify growth opportunities aligned with Tektronix strategy and influence long-term technology roadmaps.
- Develop strong and long-term relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Evaluate new opportunities to expand market reach and enhance customer acquisition in research and focus accounts
Sales Execution
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for entire the entire solution including instruments, systems, software and services.
- Develop and execute short- and medium-term visit action plans aligned with business priorities.
- Create demand by engaging with customers through on-site visits, demonstrations (80% of the time), and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with the application engineers to deliver customer demonstrations with ability to teach and create demand
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation, demand creation to deal closing and post-sales follow-up.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product management to adapt strategies and offerings.
- Gain share from competition with a strong Sales mindset being highly customer oriented.
- Contribute to sales forecast and robust funnel growth
- Maintain and leverage our CRM tool enabling best in class customer management experience
- Respect and follow the company values and act in accordance with them
Qualifications
- Customer-focused, highly curious and committed to going the extra mile.
- Highly self organized with capability to manage sense of urgency
- Technical qualification in Electronics Engineering/Physics or similar field
- Autonomous, self-driven, business savvy and result-oriented mindset
- Good internet, AI & Sales Navigator skills
- Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
- Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization and present effectively to all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Based in France, Grenoble or Lyon area
- Readiness to travel extensively across the assigned territory, and occasionally across France and EMEA
- High ethics standards of business conduct in today's business environment
- Fluency in English is a must
