ENTER THE GAME

As VP Design – App Experience, you will join the Design team, composed of passionate and talented individuals dedicated to crafting unforgettable in-app experiences across our core verticals: Sport, Poker & Casino. Your role will be to define and lead the design vision, ensuring that every user touchpoint is meaningful, seamless, and emotionally engaging.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Define and own the App Experience strategy to deliver simplicity, delight, and impact across all platforms.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Product Designers dedicated to our verticals.

• Champion multisensory design principles—integrating visual design, animations, micro-interactions, transitions, and sound to create standout product moments.

• Drive a cohesive and inspiring design vision that reflects the passion, thrill, and energy of gaming and sports.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, Research, and Data to ship ambitious experiences at speed.

• Partner with the Head of Design Ops to scale design systems, tooling, and visual capabilities.

• Represent the Design function at the leadership level, contributing to key product and company decisions.

• Act as an external ambassador for Betclic's design culture through industry events, panels, and community engagements.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm

This job is for you if:

• You have 15+ years of experience in Product Design, including 7+ years in leadership roles.

• You have a strong mobile-first and consumer-facing mindset, with a proven track record in high-scale applications.

• You bring deep knowledge of UX, interaction design, usability, and accessibility best practices.

• You've built and scaled top-performing, mission-driven design teams.

• You think strategically and lead by example, staying close to the craft.

• You're at ease working cross-functionally in fast-paced squads.

• You're bilingual in English and French, with excellent communication and storytelling skills.

• Bonus: You're passionate about gaming, sports, or entertainment—and you want to build products people love to use every single day.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, a recruiter will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

About two weeks later, you will either take a technical test with one of our Design experts or work on a case study to present to our Head of Design.

Next, you will meet your future manager (Chief Product Officer), followed by a meeting with a member of the Executive Committee. Finally, the recruiter will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
