What You'll Do
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Desktop Administrator to join our global IT Operations team. This position is based in Paris , France and will report directly to the Director of IT Operations, who is located in New York City. The role plays a key part in supporting our growing employee base and ensuring a seamless technology experience.

The Desktop Administrator will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle from an IT perspective—including device provisioning, onboarding, access configuration, offboarding, and asset management. This role will also administer and maintain our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, manage configuration profiles and policies, and continuously refine and improve the onboarding/offboarding workflows and supporting documentation.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys automation, efficiency, and providing a smooth experience for employees on Day 1 and beyond.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Execute and oversee all technical steps of the employee onboarding and offboarding lifecycle, including:
  • Device provisioning, imaging, and configuration
  • Account setup, group assignments, license provisioning, and access control
  • Retrieval, wipe, and deprovisioning of assets during offboarding
  • Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization's MDM platform, JumpCloud, and RMM tool, NinjaOne, including:
  • Profile creation and assignment
  • Policy management for macOS and Windows devices
  • Deployment of applications, updates, and compliance settings
  • Maintain and continually optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for:
  • Hardware provisioning and imaging
  • Software baselines and configuration standards
  • Endpoint lifecycle and asset management workflows
  • Provide Tier 2 support for endpoint-related issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Manage and track inventory of hardware assets and accessories.
  • Monitor endpoint compliance and security posture, collaborating with US Security and Infrastructure teams as needed.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and a consistent user experience across all onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for EU user base, coordinating closely with—and taking direction from—the IT Operations and Security teams based at the New York City corporate headquarters.
  • Provide ongoing endpoint support for North America–based employees, ensuring consistent service delivery, standards, and user experience across regions.
  • Assist with global IT initiatives, improvements, and standardization efforts under IT Operations.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Operations, Endpoint Engineering, or a closely related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering macOS and Windows environments, including troubleshooting, policy enforcement, and standardized baseline configurations.
  • Proven experience working with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as JumpCloud, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE, Kandji, or equivalent solutions.
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including:
  • Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Teams and SharePoint permission models
  • Solid understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, including device imaging, provisioning standards, hardware refresh cycles, and secure decommissioning.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security best practices, including compliance enforcement, access controls, and device posture monitoring.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with demonstrated experience creating and maintaining SOPs, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience automating workflows through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with ticketing and asset management platforms (e.g., Halo, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, identity-based security models, and compliance frameworks.
