The Role
As an Area Manager, you will provide strong leadership to Store Managers and develop a shared commitment to delivering business goals. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple store locations in your region, ensuring that each store operates efficiently and meets its sales targets. Your role will involve strategic planning, team development, and fostering a positive work environment.

Your Impact

• Line manager to Store Managers and covers other Areas where required
• Provide leadership to the Stores ensuring all teams aligned with clear and measurable objectives
• Grow comparable store sales and maximize profitability
• Supports and makes suggestions to the Regional Manager in implementing long-term direction and influence the retail strategy
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver business goals
• Ensures all business activities are in compliance with national laws, regulations and operating policies
• Consistently driving high levels of operational excellence across the area
• Ensure stores adhere to all company policy and procedures
• Driving stores to exceed customer service standards, demonstrating a customer first mentality, driving customer loyalty and retention
• Actively looking for ways to ensure all internal controllable cost measures are adhered to in order to maximise profit
• Coaching and developing Store Management in order to optimise performance and provide succession for the business.
• Recruitment, selection and onboarding of Store Management
• Travels in both France and Switzerland and internationally as required
• Champions the 'Deckers Way' values to ensure they are at the core of our business

We Would Love To Hear From People With

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a multi-store environment
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• An understanding of Employee Relations and HR policy and procedure in your region
• Fluency in French and good level of English is a requirement for this role
• Able to travel across the region frequently and at short notice
