DesignBuild Search are working with a global lead in the telecommunications sector. Due to phenomenal growth they have an opening for an experienced Regional Site Manager in Paris. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing site level operations for a portfolio of wireless infrastructure assets, comprising of towers, rooftops and DAS networks. Responsibilities include the integration of new assets, maintenance of the assigned portfolio of sites and facilitating tenant installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual French & English
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or technical field
  • Minimum seven years' experience in wireless communication development, site construction
  • and telecommunications construction project management
  • Thorough knowledge of telecommunication construction practices
  • Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual who is a self-starter
  • Demonstrated mastery in multi-tasking
  • Aptitude for success in corporate environment
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities include:

  • Interfaces with Regional Leasing Manager and tenants in the leasing, site design and installation
  • processes
  • Establishes and maintains daily project plans for multiple contracts as required; work directly
  • with clients with support from internal and external resources
  • Prepares, coordinates, and closes out all required accounting requirements for each project
  • including requisitions, purchase orders, invoice approvals, etc.
  • Reviews and recommends tenant installation configurations on towers and in compounds
  • Approves tenant co-location applications evidencing same
  • Communicates construction notice-to-proceed requirements to tenant & contractors
  • Conducts site walks with tenants – preliminary design site walk, final inspection, punch list, etc.
  • Completes all project closeouts, including site walks, punch list item completion, document
  • scanning, site binder, and accounting
  • Ensures compliance with regulations regarding proper signage at all sites
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and Local safety, environmental, and zoning code
  • conditions
  • Facilitates tower and building inspections, as required
  • Facilitates site inspections to verify equipment removal, electrical configuration, etc.
  • Schedules routine and on-demand site maintenance and repair activities
  • Handles day-to-day project level customer, contractor, and internal communications – verbal
  • and written
  • Develops and nurtures client relationship by identifying requirements; anticipating and resolving
  • problems
  • Monitors and communicates metrics with company tracking tools and reports on a minimum
  • weekly basis
  • Assists Mergers & Acquisitions group with the auditing of assets being considered for purchase
  • or site management opportunities
  • Interfaces with Lease Administration regarding due diligence package questions and other site
  • related issues

Additional requirements:

  • Initiates and conducts necessary meetings to keep project on schedule and within budget with
  • early problem resolution
  • Updates, uploads, and maintains all necessary site information under the control of the
  • operations team up to date in company's central database
  • Meets site visits quota as per assigned territory on an annual basis
  • Manages assigned territory's operational and capital budgets for repair, maintenance, and
  • upgrade activities of sites and ensure that the budget is not exceeded
  • Participates on weekly conference calls and attends team and company meetings at specific
  • locations throughout the year as designated by the company
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Position works in a standard office environment and in the field. Standing, sitting, driving and walking
  • required daily. Job will involve minimal travel.
