Head of Data – Fast-Growing Consumer App

They're looking for a Head of Data to transform a massive stream of user data (25M+ users, billions of events) into a key driver of growth and AI innovation.

About the role

Reporting directly to the founders, you'll define and execute the company's data vision and strategy. You'll shape the data stack, build a high-performing team, and turn data into a competitive advantage for international expansion and AI-driven product evolution.

Your mission

  • Lead the global data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Build and scale a multidisciplinary team (Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, Fraud Analysts).
  • Ensure data reliability, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Oversee data infrastructure design, pipelines, and monitoring.
  • Drive data culture and empower all teams with actionable insights.
  • Lead projects in LTV modeling, personalization, fraud detection, and experimentation.
  • Accelerate the adoption of AI across product and operations.

Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in data, including 3+ in management.
  • Proven success structuring data teams in a B2C or scale-up environment.
  • Strong technical background (BigQuery, Airflow, DBT, Metabase, Amplitude or equivalents).
  • Deep understanding of analytics, data engineering, and data science.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Compensation
    :
    €100K–€150K, depending on experience.
