Job description:

THE ROLE :

Your main role will be:

  • Initiation, organization and management of industrial projects related to the production of renewable energy.
  • Negotiation of long-term offtake contracts of renewable energies with suppliers.

As part of its energy transition roadmap, CMA CGM is investing and securing long term offtakes of renewable energy. This includes in particular biofuels, biomethane, biomethanol, hydrogen and e-fuels.

Within the framework of its projects, CMA CGM is looking for a business developer who preferably already has experience in these areas, to participate in their management. The candidate will be sourcing renewable energies projects, initiating and prioritizing a pipeline of projects with suppliers, following the progress of the various industrial projects and negotiating long term offtake contracts, in charge of managing CMA CGM's commitments.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

  • Development of the portfolio of renewable energy suppliers;
  • Development of the portfolio of industrial projects related to the production of renewable energy;
  • Negotiating long term offtake contracts with counterparties;
  • Supplier relationship management;
  • Coordination with all internal and external stakeholders and participation in the various studies required for the completion of these projects;
  • Monitoring and collection of information and studies, market intelligence and watch on renewable energies applicable to shipping;
  • Case studies, benchmarking and viability calculations for the use of new energies.

Profile description:
