• Leading and coaching a small Design & Build sales team to achieve performance goals and foster a strong culture.
• Developing strategic relationships with architecture & design firms and specifiers to increase Steelcase's market share.
• Driving end-to-end sales processes for priority projects, including offer definition, costing, presentations, and negotiations.
• Collaborating with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, logistics) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within Design & Build firms and expanding our network of specifiers.
• Influencing product and finish specifications to secure inclusion in tenders and maximize project success rates.
• Reporting sales activity and forecasts using tools like Salesforce to inform leadership and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in interior design, architecture, space planning, or related field.
• Demonstrating experience in B2B sales environments, ideally within design, architecture, or furniture sectors.
• Showing fluency in English (and French strongly preferred for this market).
• Possessing strong business acumen and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Being comfortable with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and standard office software.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Having an already established network within the architecture & design community and Design & Build firms, enabling quicker relationship building and market penetration.
• Demonstrating leadership experience in coordinating projects or guiding teams (formal management experience is a plus but can be developed).
• Communicating effectively in both English and French to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Showing entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a new, evolving channel.
• Applying strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to align with organizational goals.
• Exhibiting a positive, "can-do" attitude and energy to influence and gain buy-in across teams.
