ProductLife Group is looking for a
General Accounting Manager
to take responsibility for allocated tasks within the accounting department delivered by the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day general accounting transactions to ensure on-time and accurate booking
  • Lead a team of 4 members in charge of the French entities (3 holdings and 1 operating entity)
  • Monitor the monthly and annual closing process for management and statutory purposes
  • Own the tax calculation and compliance for the French entities (Monthly VAT submission, Corporate Income Tax and other indirect taxes)
  • Contribute and take initiative on the systems transactions and continuous process improvements
  • Coordinate the intercompany recharges and reconciliation for the French entities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, French GAAP and IFRS being mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ERP exposure and implementation; ideally Netsuite
  • Work in an international group with significant cross-border transactions
  • Pro-activity; excellent communication skills and cross functional relationship (HR, IT, transformation team, legal…).
