Job purpose

As a Business Applications Lead, your main objective is to manage and enhance the Salesforce ecosystem by leading global AI strategic initiatives, building strong relationships with AXA entities, and coordinating innovation projects. You will enable AI business transformation, optimize processes, and ensure the successful delivery of AI solutions aligned with AXA's growth and customer-centric strategies.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of strategic topics such as AI positioning paper updates and ensuring alignment across entities and global functions.

  • Managing engagement and relationships with AXA entities by handling queries and requests and building a business network to identify pockets of excellence.

  • Leading and coordinating innovation and transformation initiatives with subject matter experts to understand the current state and define next steps for AI business transformation, aiming to optimize global processes and meet roadmap targets.

  • Managing cross-functional teams to drive initiatives, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives, and coordinating with various internal and external parties to facilitate change.

  • Designing and implementing initiatives that evolve and optimize Salesforce AI technologies, including proof-of-concept projects, contributing to AXA's growth strategy and customer 360-centric approach.

  • Collaborating closely with vendor account and sales teams to scope activities, analyze costs/pricing, and address the specific needs of AXA entities to impact the business directly.

  • Driving communication strategies to maintain stakeholder engagement and managing operational relationships with C-level executives.

  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks through strategic communication with leaders and executives, managing escalations, and navigating complex and political environments.

  • Organizing and participating in events that showcase market trends and community engagement to meet organizational goals.

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in digital product management, ideally within the insurance, financial services, or technology sectors.

  • Extensive experience managing large-scale AI transformation projects and initiatives, preferably in a global or multinational environment.

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and business units across multiple entities.

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms in a strategic and operational capacity.

  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies, with hands-on experience applying these frameworks to product development and project delivery.

Technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce Clouds, AI capabilities, integrations, and custom development.

  • Experience with digital product management, including defining roadmaps, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features.

  • Proficiency in analyzing costs, pricing models, and vendor management to ensure value-driven solutions.

  • Familiarity with IT architecture, API integrations, and cloud-based solutions to support scalable digital initiatives.

  • Understanding of data privacy, security standards, and compliance requirements relevant to digital transformation in the insurance industry.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive change in complex environments.

  • High emotional intelligence and political acumen, essential for navigating organizational complexities and managing risks effectively.
