The PreSales engineering team is the technical partner to Sales. We provide unanticipated value and strive to provide the right solutions to our customers. Our team possesses the deepest levels of technical understanding and builds relationships to understand customer business drivers. We match these to Akamai's technology, and clearly articulating complex solutions to our customers.

As Solutions Engineer, you'll build relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to our customers, delivering innovative solutions. You will get to work with all the technologies Akamai has to offer. You will become an expert in Cloud and Cybersecurity.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.Engaging with customers during the sales-cycle to gather requirements and develop proposals, design, delivery, demo's and proof-of-concepts.Collaborating with internal Stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships by becoming the go-to person for technical queries.Supporting and advising internal cross-functional teams to ensure customers get appropriate updates, upgrades and event-oriented solutions.Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have an interest in internet technologies and protocols, web performance, cybersecurity and cloud solutionsDemonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiencesBe a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.Be fluent in french and EnglishWork in a way that works for you
