Every day, IST secures billions of essential transactions, ensuring the highest levels of data protection and convenience.PurposeThis role works across the logistics teams and ensures efficient and effective material flows to meet the business objectives.Key MissionsUnder the management of the Transport and Customs Director the Transport Manager will in a first mission:Lead the project of the global transport organization of Idemia :o Study the actual organizationo Analyze the different process in placeo Establish processes of transport on each siteo Propose a rationalization and professionalization of the organization of the transport at Idemia in local and in centralo Participate to the freight forwarders improvement on the service, the cost and the delay.o Propose KPIs to measure the efficiency and put measures in place to correct when neededAnd after the kick off of the new organization:Manage the transport global organizationo Implement procedures in each transport teamso Implement processes to optimize routing, scheduling and SLA with freight forwarderso Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of transportation operations, mode utilization (sea, air, dual) and financial performanceStrategic Planning and Improvemento Develop and implement strategic plans for the global transportation network to meet organizational objectives.o Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.o Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on performance metrics.• Regulatory Compliance and risks managemento Develop and implement policies to mitigate regulatory risks in line with international transportation regulations and ensure compliance with customs, import/export laws, and other relevant regulationso Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation operations, including supply chain disruptions, security concerns, and geopolitical factors.Leadership, Network and Expertiseo Develop, facilitate and maintain an internal network of transport managerso Manage relationships with transportation vendors with the support of purchasing department, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.o Support evaluation and selection of new vendors in support of the purchasing department.Technology Integrationo Evaluate and implement transportation management systems (TMS) and other technologies to enhance operational efficiencyo Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making and process improvementsProfile & Other InformationExperienceMinimum of 8 years' experience in transport managementLanguageEnglish fluentFrench fluent or intermediate (majority of the corporate meetings are in French)Additional language is a plusSkills and CompetenciesProficiency with transport management systems (TMS)Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Platform)Ability to analyze complex problem involving numerous parties and propose solutionsCustomer orientedOrganizational SkillsEducationBAC + 4/5 level engineering or business school type with specialization in Supply Chain/LogisticsMaster and/or MBA is a plusLocationJob based in Paris, FranceScopeWorld operation across 50 countriesTransport organization of 100 peopleJoin UsReady to make a move?
