Stern Energy is a service company that supports its customers on the path to energy transition in the management of industrial-scale photovoltaic power plants.EXPERTISE, SPEED, TRANSPARENCY, AND PASSION: OUR VALUES GUIDE OUR DAILY WORK.With 250 employees and 2.5 GW (600 plants) managed in Italy, Germany, England, France, Denmark, and the Netherlands, the Stern Energy group is now a benchmark in the European solar industry.Founded in Italy in 2008, the company offers engineering, construction, routine and extraordinary maintenance, and remote control services, including revamping and repowering services.In France, the Stern Energy SASU team maintains a portfolio of power plants with a capacity of approximately 120 MW and has already carried out nearly 80 MW of repowering projects on several ground-mounted power plants.For its French subsidiary, Stern Energy is currently looking for:Portfolio ManagerReporting directly to the Managing Director for France, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of photovoltaic power plants across the country.Main responsibilities Prepare activities and scheduling requests to fulfil contractual obligations in terms of preventive and corrective maintenance On a daily basis, assess email alerts received from the monitoring team and coordinate call out services for fault investigation with Field team leads to fulfil response time guarantees. Create and manage work orders-Create tickets for field service engineers based on alerts received from the monitoring team and from other contractual obligations (e.g. preventive maintenance activities). Verify that the tickets include sufficient information to report activities to the Clients and to organise follow up actions. Reporting activities-Prepare monthly technical reports to present performance of the assets and of the activities conducted. Prepare additional reports for warranty and insurance claims. Communicate with clients via email and lead on client meetings Create quotes for high value and complex additional service projects. To be reviewed by senior management Work independently in arranging site activities with internal and external resources. Set an example to promote a positive health and safety culture, whilst demonstrating a strong understanding of the health and safety policy and procedures Effectively communicating and engaging with the field team. Contract management-Manage scope of work of operation and maintenance agreements to make sure contractual obligations are fulfilled. Budget management-Create budget and manage minor construction projects for corrective. Contribute to the development of the organisation and the enterprise tools Collaborate with the other headquarters of Stern Energy in other countries on specific tasks and expertise Travel around the different projects for the supervision of operations, technical assessments holding meetings with concerned clients' representatives, suppliers and authorities.Skills and qualifications French native (or C2) and English C1 Graduated Electrical Engineer BAC+5 or equivalent Experienced leadership (min 2 years) in managing a technical team Proven technical experience (min 5 years) in the photovoltaic O&M business Organisational / Problem solving skills Motivator KPI driven Decision-making under pressure Ability to lead initiatives, set examples, and take ownership of project outcomes Strategic thinking Time management & prioritisation Adaptability & resilience Health and safety conscious Good knowledge of MS office tools Knowledge of PV monitoring systems and related communication infrastructures Knowledge of HSE and related construction regulations in FranceMain Work location: Mont de Marsan, FranceContract start date: immediateThe contractual terms of employment will be assessed based on the candidate's experience.
