We are looking for a curious and organized Curators & Services Associate to join our team Working alongside our Director of Curators & Services, you’ll help coordinate the growth and monitoring of our worldwide curator community (playlisters, media, radios, DJs and content creators), support our editorial playlist network, and contribute to new services and special projects.
This internship is ideal for someone who wants to kick-start their career in the music industry and discover how a tech marketplace works from the inside, across departments (marketing, tech, product and more). No need to know everything on day one: we’ll train you on our tools and methods.
Missions
Help recruit and onboard new curators in our priority markets and genres.
Take part in monitoring feedback quality and follow up with curators when needed.
Follow the performance of our editorial playlists, from curation to ads and Spotify SEO.
Contribute to the launch of new services (Content Creator Program, coaching, video feedback).
Support our artist coaching service: coordinate sessions between artists and our music industry coaches, help onboard new coaches, follow up with artists after their sessions, and track satisfaction and results.
Support the Groover blog: editorial calendar and coordination with freelance writers.
Regularly create artist-focused deliverables, in both written and video formats, including: Social media analysis and recommendations, Music/project analysis and feedback, Social media content ideas tailored to each artist, their identity and current goals
Support the curator team on cross-team projects with the product, marketing, ads and data teams.
What you’ll learn
How to understand an artist’s career development from end to end, from releasing music to building an audience and growing a career
How acquisition, activation and quality monitoring work on a two-sided marketplace
How editorial playlists grow on Spotify (SEO, ads, audience)
How to read dashboards and turn data into decisions (Metabase)
How to automate everyday tasks with no-code and AI tools (n8n, Airtable, Claude)
How to run projects with many teams at a fast-growing music-tech startup
Preferred experience
Fluent in English, since our curators are all over the world
Organized, rigorous and comfortable juggling several topics
Comfortable with numbers and eager to learn data tools
Curious, proactive and happy to share ideas
Bonus if
You’re passionate about music
You speak French, Spanish or Portuguese
You’ve already used Google Sheets, Notion or an automation tool
