Our client is a global manufacturer of advanced air purification technology. Their systems are deployed across a wide range of commercial and public environments, supporting organisations in improving indoor air quality. Their solutions already protect the air in some of the most demanding environments including major global fast-food chains, international hotel groups, NHS hospitals, airport terminals and cruise fleets.


They're growing fast and looking for a Business Development Manager to open doors, win new clients and take their technology into new markets through distributor, hygiene company and OEM routes to market.

Business Development Manager
Home-based · French-speaking · Territory: France/Belgium

The role

A channel-led business development role: revenue comes through partners and distributors, not direct end-user sales. You will build and grow the partner network in France and support those partners in winning and retaining end clients. You will have real autonomy to shape the route to market.


You will
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new distributor, hygiene company and OEM partners across France.
  • Build and deliver a channel sales plan against agreed revenue targets.
  • Lead proposals, commercial negotiations and partner agreements through to signature.
  • Grow revenue through existing partners — account development, cross-sell and renewals.
  • Run partner training, business reviews and joint planning.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM.


Requirements

  • Fluent French and English.
  • Based in France and eligible to work in France.
  • 5+ years in business development or channel / distribution sales.
  • Proven track record of selling through partners rather than direct.
  • Degree-level education.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and remotely (UK based HQ)
  • Full French driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional international trips
