Drive the future of embedded security The primary role of this position is to drive profitable revenue growth for Enea’s Embedded Security Business Unit across the EMEA region.
The Role:
The Sales Director will promote Enea’s Qosmos Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Threat Detection technologies to network equipment manufacturers, solution vendors, system integrators, cybersecurity providers, and selected government and public-sector ecosystems. Pre-Sales Engineering resources will support the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute an EMEA territory plan with clear priorities, target accounts, partner coverage, revenue goals, and sales strategies, including government and public-sector opportunities.
• Plan strategic account and partner activities: prioritize key accounts and programs, map decision-makers, address objections, and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Manage the full sales cycle with Pre-Sales Engineering support: qualification, requirements discovery, evaluation / proof of concept, proposal, pricing, and contract negotiation.
• Develop government-focused system integrators, prime contractors, cybersecurity vendors, technology partners, and local channels; close sales and secure orders.
• Represent Enea at relevant government, defense, cybersecurity, and partner events and during on-site customer engagements.
• Maintain accurate opportunity management, sales reporting, pipeline coverage, and revenue forecasting for the EMEA business.
• Track government market dynamics, procurement practices, sovereign and regulatory requirements, competition, and pricing.
• Develop trusted executive relationships within key accounts, including government organizations, agencies, partners, and strategic programs.
• Achieve or exceed agreed annual revenue and order-intake objectives for the EMEA business.
• Achieve or exceed agreed quarterly quantitative and qualitative objectives, including pipeline generation, strategic account development, and partner activation. Required Qualifications &
Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum) with at least 10 years’ experience in related fields (sales, pre-sales)
• Proven track record in government, indirect, OEM, and/or business development sales in an international environment, preferably across EMEA.
• Practical experience in selling highly technical products and solutions
• Strong understanding of technology markets, ideally with experience in cybersecurity and networking domains. A knowledge of embedded software or deep packet inspection solutions would be a plus.
• Strong technical background in networking and/or cybersecurity (technologies, ecosystem, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of the government and cybersecurity ecosystem, including public agencies, defense and security organizations, prime contractors, specialized vendors, network equipment manufacturers, and system integrators.
• Successful experience creating, managing, and closing complex opportunities within government, defense, public safety, intelligence, and/or cybersecurity accounts; familiarity with public tenders and long-cycle procurement processes is highly valued. Key Skills & Competencies:
