Your Mission
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will build the supply chain that takes humanoid robots from the lab to large-scale production. Working hand-in-hand with our hardware team, you will make sure every part, supplier and partner is in place so we can build on time. You will own the function end-to-end: strategy, suppliers, manufacturing partners, logistics and the team. Your work will decide how fast, how reliably, and at what cost our robots reach the world. You start as a hands-on builder and grow into the leader of a global supply chain organization.
Responsibilities
• Define the long-term supply chain strategy for scaling humanoid production, from first builds to a full production line
• Work closely with the hardware team on BOM, DFM, cost and component availability, so that every build is supplied on time
• Build a global network of suppliers and manufacturing partners across Europe, Asia and the US
• Develop the core processes from the ground up: procurement, vendor selection, quality, logistics, import/export
• Set up the tools, ERP, KPIs, demand planning and inventory strategy that let us scale without breaking
• Anticipate and mitigate risks such as single sources, geopolitical exposure and lead times
• Recruit and lead the supply chain team What You Bring To The Table
• 7+ years in supply chain, procurement or manufacturing operations for complex hardware (robotics, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics)
• Proven track record scaling a supply chain from prototype to volume production
• Strong network and hands-on experience with suppliers in Asia, Europe and/or the US
• Builder mindset: you’ve set up processes, tools or teams from scratch
• Technical enough to discuss drawings, BOMs and electromechanical components with engineers
• Fluent English; French and Mandarin are a plus UMA is an inclusive workplace that values exceptional builders over perfect pedigrees. Whatever your background, identity, or journey, if you don't meet every criterion but believe you can have an outsized impact here, we strongly encourage you to apply.
