Faber is building the next generation of mechanical engineering tools. Designing and manufacturing a part still takes months in software designed in the 80s. We think the next generation is agentic: an engineer and an AI agent working on the same geometry, from the first sketch to the machined part. We are a small team in Paris, working with design partners in automotive, aerospace and precision manufacturing. You would work on the geometry layer of our tools: how the agent perceives a part or a B-rep, how it acts on the kernel, how manual and agentic interaction fit together in the same interface, and classic CAD/CAM features in our own application. We are looking for 5+ years on 3D or CAD software (geometry kernels, B-rep, meshes, solvers), enough mechanical engineering to read a drawing, some ML experience or the drive to get it, and the will to build a company.
