Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: An internship opportunity titled "Internship in the Development and Management of Web-Based Cartographic Services for Internal Airbus Functions (F/H)" has just opened at Airbus Commercial in Saint-Martin. You will join the Facility Management & Real Estate (FMRE) department, responsible for providing and maintaining Airbus buildings, infrastructure, and employee support — specifically within the Digital Office team, which delivers digital solutions to address various operational and strategic challenges. Your internship will involve: Managing mini-projects within the geospatial (GIS) team to address real-world issues faced by Airbus, delivering geographic and digital solutions. Access to GIS tools (ArcGIS, the dedicated FMGEO platform), extensive business datasets, and very high-resolution satellite imagery. This 6-month internship is ideally scheduled to begin in February 2027 (this date is indicative and may be adjusted).

Key Responsibilities
Assess the maturity level of data model implementation within our GIS (Geographic Information System) environment. Identify and propose areas for improvement and optimization of our GIS tools and processes. Manage continuous improvement projects, from needs analysis to solution deployment. Collaborate with business units to understand their requirements and ensure developed solutions meet their needs. Contribute to the writing of technical documentation and user guides. Your supervisor will support you throughout the internship, helping you develop your skills and achieve your professional goals. Key Competencies You Will Develop: Project Management in Industrial Settings: Apply and strengthen your project leadership skills within a cross-functional, international team in a dynamic environment. Strategic Perspective: Join a multinational, cross-divisional team (Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence and Space), gaining deep insight into Airbus’s major technological and industrial challenges.
