Toei Animation’s activities include animation development and production, as well as worldwide distribution, and licensing of its iconic brands. Founded in 2005, Toei Animation Europe is responsible for the distribution and exploitation of Toei Animation’s content and brands across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Toei Animation Europe manages a portfolio of globally recognized anime brands, including Dragon Ball, One Piece, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, Digimon among others. As part of the continued expansion of our Licensing business across the EMEA region, we are looking for a Licensing Manager to join our Licensing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing licensing opportunities, strengthening relationships with partners, and driving sustainable business growth across assigned territories.

Responsibilities:
· Drives business growth across different markets in line with Toei’s strategy, manages and challenges local agent.
· Leads local initiatives & projects to achieve desired outcomes
· Engages licensees, retailers and brands across the territories to ensure the visibility of the brands on the markets.
· Travels across the different territories to evaluate market opportunities, build relationships with licensees and retailers, and continuously expand market knowledge/expertise.
· Attend different trade fairs and shows to meet potential and existing partners while presenting the brands.
· Manage quarterly royalty reporting and use the numbers to steer decisions
· Tracks market trends and their impact on strategies, develops and monitors priorities, objectives and action plans accordingly.
· Work hand in hand with our headquarters in Tokyo and our teams in Paris, coming forward with proposals and solutions Requirements and

qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and experience in licensing including (Knowledge of the anime industry would be a plus) licensee management, contract negotiation, and royalty business models
• Ability to develop and execute business strategies, identify market opportunities, and drive revenue growth in the territories
• Business-level proficiency in English, German would be a plus.
• Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and business results to support decision-making
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiatives and independently develop new business opportunities
