Our mission: bring the development of physical products from years to weeks.
Faber is building the Agentic Engineering Platform, designed to make mechanical engineers 10× more productive. By taking on the repetitive, tool-heavy work that stands between an idea and a manufactured part, Faber allows engineers to focus on judgment and innovation rather than operating complex, disconnected interfaces.
We work hand in hand with our industrial partners to build agentic solutions for their own needs, deploying and developing our product at the same time. Every project feeds the same product, which we are building to be used at scale, by any engineer in any company.
Our ambition is to become Europe’s reference in agentic engineering, both as the company that builds the software and as the partner that deploys it at manufacturers.
We have just raised a multi-million-euro pre-seed round from major European VC funds. We already work with major industrial players in automotive, aerospace and jewelry, and thousands of users are on our public beta.
Faber was founded by three AI engineers from École polytechnique and an industrialist who spent ten years running a watch brand and a micro-precision machining company. We are currently based at Station F in Paris.

Our business is built around one product. Forward deployed engineers (FDEs) take it to each industrial partner, adapt it to the way the partner works, and build the new features the partner needs. The Product team builds the product those features end up in. You report to our CTO, who oversees both Deployment and Product.
You are fully responsible for deploying Faber at the customers you own. You are the person their engineers talk to. You spend time with them, often on site, to understand how they really work and what slows them down, and you turn that into a solution that runs in their workflows. What you build for one customer comes back into the product, through your work with the Product team.
The job is hard in two ways. Industrial workflows are dense and rarely written down, so understanding the real need takes curiosity and patience. And customers judge us on speed: you have to go from a first meeting to something that works on their own parts in a few weeks.

• Own customer contracts end to end. Understand the need, propose a solution, adapt the product to the customer’s workflows, build the missing features and the integrations with their tools, then present the results and ship the deliverables.
• Prove it with numbers. Build evals on the customer’s own parts and drawings, so that every result you show is backed by a measurement.
• Keep it running. Set up the basic infrastructure each deployment needs, and stay the customer’s point of contact once it is live.
• Make the product better. Turn what you learn in the field into clear product requests, and build the new features with the Product team.
• Lead the Deployment team. Within 12 months, you lead the growing Deployment team, help hire it, and shape how Faber deploys. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 We are looking for an engineer who loves being close to users, ships fast, and wants to own the relationship with some of Europe’s largest manufacturers. Must-have: 1–3 years of experience as a forward deployed engineer or AI engineer, ideally in a startup or a tech company. Fluent English and French. What matters most after that:
• Ownership: you are a doer. You take initiative, work autonomously and carry a project to the end.
• Efficiency: you are a strong coder who has shipped production systems used by real users, and tools like Claude Code are second nature to you.
• AI understanding: you know how transformers work and how to build a harness around a model, and you follow the state of the art.
• Analytical mind: you measure before you claim, and evals are your default way to decide.
• Leadership: you want to lead a team of FDEs as we grow.
• Clarity: you explain things simply, to a customer’s engineer as well as to the founders, and you care about a finished, usable result. Nice to have, not required: a background or a strong interest in mechanical engineering, CAD or manufacturing. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀
•
Location:
on site, at Station F in Paris.
•
Salary:
€65,000–€85,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and skills.
• Equity: stock options (BSPCE).
• Travel: regular visits to customer sites in France and Europe.
• Contract: full-time, permanent (CDI).
• Start date: as soon as possible.
