About us
Legos was born from a simple idea: to make telecoms accessible. We have created a platform allowing the convergence of fixed, mobile, voice, SMS and also data, all in white label. Today, Legos is declared as a voice and messaging operator in 19 European countries. Multicultural, innovative and ambitious, Legos aims to become the number 1 converged operator by breaking down the boundaries of telecoms. Agile and positioned in Carriers segments, Legos is growing fast. Joining us means participating in a strong human experience and a meaningful business project As a Senior Telecom engineer, the candidate will join the Engineering team and report to the Engineering Director. About the Engineering team The Engineering team is responsible for the design, architecture, and infrastructure of the Legos platform: backbone and network core, OSS, BSS, and R&D. Its mission is to design the systems and to improve them. Engineering gets involved when the design of a system must be modified and to build new products/services. 🚀
Key Responsibilities

• Keeping the platform up to date: plan and drive the migrations and upgrades of systems and virtualization environments (VMware ESX, Proxmox) Within these focus areas, the Senior Telecom Engineer's main objectives will be to:
• Continue the migration to Proxmox
• Design and deploy the replacement of the VxRail solution

• A reference for the Linux systems and the Proxmox and VMware ESX virtualization environments
• A reference for reproductible infrastructure (infrastructure as code, documentation, least privilege) Within the technical teams, the Senior Telecom Engineer will regularly be required to:
• Perform planned maintenance operations outside business hours, in average 1 to 2 times a month, either to put into production the evolutions designed by the team or to update the infrastructure
• Take part in the on-call duty
• Travel to the data centers hosting our infrastructure to keep the racks in operational condition 🎖️Required Profile & Qualifications
• Engineering degree in telecom networks and systems
• First experience (3 years minimum) in a highly available technical environment
• Solid Linux administration (Rocky Linux, Debian family); knowledge of Proxmox or VMware ESX
• Ability to design and document resilient architectures (redundancy, capacity planning)
• Networking basics (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, DNS) and scripting (Bash, Python)
