About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join an international technical environment and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical and electronic components throughout the supplier lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the quality performance of suppliers delivering electrical and electronic components and systems. Your responsibilities include:
• Managing supplier quality activities for electrical and electronic components
• Monitoring supplier quality performance through KPIs, quality indicators, and supplier scorecards
• Analyzing supplier quality issues, non-conformities, customer complaints, and component failures
• Leading and/or supporting root cause analysis and corrective action plans, using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and FMEA
• Supporting PPAP/APQP activities and ensuring supplier quality requirements are met throughout the product development lifecycle
• Participating in supplier audits and assessments, including process and product audits
• Identifying potential risks related to electrical and electronic component manufacturing processes and supply chains
• Collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, R&D, and other Quality teams to resolve technical quality issues
• Supporting supplier selection and qualification from a quality and technical perspective What We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, you are an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a strong technical background and proven experience working with electrical and/or electronic components. You bring:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Supplier Development, or a similar position
• Proven experience working with electrical and electronic components and/or systems
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality processes and methodologies
• Experience with 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, PPAP, APQP, and root cause analysis
