Company Overview:
Model ML is the AI workflow builder transforming how major financial institutions produce and validate client-ready work. Model ML converts complex, manual processes into fully automated AI systems that scale across global teams. In under a year, Model ML has become one of the fastest growing enterprise AI platforms worldwide and recently closed a $75 million Series A, one of the largest fintech Series A rounds ever. The round was backed by FT Partners, Y Combinator, LocalGlobe, QED, 13books, and other top global investors.
The Role:
Coverage owns Model ML’s client relationships from start to finish: the first meeting, the signed contract, the firm-wide rollout and the renewal. The role combines new business with client delivery. You’ll win new clients across banks, advisory firms, private equity, asset managers and consulting firms. Then you’ll make sure those clients get measurable value, adopt the product widely and expand their use of it. You’ll work alongside our product specialists, Growth, Product and Engineering. Inside your accounts, you are the person accountable for the commercial result and for the client’s success.
Responsibilities:
• Build and own a pipeline of new logos across banks, advisory firms, private equity, asset managers and consulting firms.
• Build relationships with partners, MDs and practice leaders, and find the teams where Model ML saves the most time: due diligence, research, and deck and model production.
• Run enterprise sales cycles through procurement, legal and security review, from first meeting to signed contract.
• Bring in product specialists for demos and pilots, and agree success measures with the client at the start.
• Turn pilots into paid, firm-wide rollouts, then own adoption, ROI and renewal.
• Turn client problems into scalable workflows, and bring what each client needs back to Product and Engineering.
• Keep pipeline, usage and adoption metrics accurate. Run a clear plan with owners and dates.
• Communicate early and clearly: send agendas, capture decisions, close loops, and flag risks before they become surprises.
• Forecast accurately and hit a quarterly number. Requirements (what "good" looks like):
• 5 to 10 years in investment banking, private equity or a top-tier consultancy. Alternatively, 5+ years carrying a quota in enterprise software or data sales to financial services.
• Client-facing experience. You have run workstreams and client calls, or managed enterprise sales cycles end to end.
• A record of commercial results, such as six-figure deals closed with banks, funds or advisory firms, or client relationships you grew over time.
• Hands-on experience with the work our clients do, such as decks, models and research packs.
• Strong technical fluency. You can reason about workflows, data and failure modes, and you’re credible with engineers.
• Disciplined with tracking, documentation and governance.
• Based in Paris or willing to relocate, and willing to travel within the region. Nice to have:
• Private equity experience, either in a PE practice or at a PE firm.
• Startup, product, early-stage sales or AI experience. What You Can Expect:
• It won’t be easy. In fact, it will be very hard.
• It will also be a lot of fun.
• You need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Timelines will change and priorities will shift.
• It’s a fast-paced role where you’ll learn a lot, take on meaningful challenges and grow along the way.
