Role Description The Remote French Teacher will deliver engaging French language lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, primarily through virtual platforms, with occasional in-person sessions in Accra. This full-time hybrid role involves preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with YP Lingua’s curriculum and teaching standards. The teacher will monitor learner progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to support different learning styles and goals. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, participating in teacher meetings and training, maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, and contributing to educational initiatives that support YPE’s social impact programs. While based in Accra, the role allows for a mix of on-site teaching and work-from-home arrangements, depending on scheduling and operational needs. Qualifications
• Strong skills in French Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to instruct different proficiency levels effectively.
• Experience in Tutoring and Education, including designing lessons and supporting diverse learner needs.
• Background in Teacher Training or professional development in language education is highly beneficial.
• Advanced proficiency in French and solid command of English for clear communication and instruction.
• Relevant degree or certification in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Comfort with online teaching tools, learning management systems, and virtual classroom platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in a full-time schedule, and the ability to work in a hybrid Accra-based arrangement.
• Passion for social impact, cultural exchange, and supporting learners from varied backgrounds.
