About Us
We're a New York-based strategy and operations consulting firm specializing in M&A deals and business transformations for private equity firms, family offices, and growth-stage companies. We're looking for a sharp, ambitious Business Development Associate ready to break into elite-level consulting while making a direct impact with sophisticated clients.
What You'll Do
Drive Business Growth Proactively identify and engage potential clients—PE firms, corporate development teams, and portfolio companies—through strategic outreach on LinkedIn and email Own the Pipeline Research target companies, qualify leads, initiate high-value conversations, and book discovery calls for senior leadership Build Relationships Support client communications, nurture prospects throughout the sales cycle, and help maintain relationships with key decision-makers Create Market Intelligence Conduct competitive analysis, prospect research, and industry trend mapping to inform our go-to-market strategy Support Deal-Making Collaborate on pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing materials that win business Optimize Operations Maintain CRM systems, track key metrics, and continuously improve our Business Development processes Requirements Who You Are
Experience:
2-4 years in M&A, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting, or high-growth B2B sales Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English—you can craft compelling, professional messages that open doors Tech Stack: Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) What Sets You Apart ✅ Relentlessly Curious: You want to understand how deals work, why companies buy or sell, and what drives value creation ✅ Results-Driven: You're energized by hitting targets, opening new doors, and seeing tangible outcomes from your work ✅ Resilient: You view "no" as "not yet" and use rejection as fuel to refine your approach ✅ Self-Starter: You don't wait for instructions—you take initiative, solve problems, and figure things out ✅ Startup Mentality: You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly, and are comfortable wearing multiple hats ✅ Data-Informed: You track your performance metrics and constantly iterate to improve results Schedule & Availability Full-time: Monday–Friday with flexibility to join calls until at least 3:00 PM EST for client meetings and team collaboration Benefits Compensation This role offers a base monthly stipend + performance-based incentives.
