This is a maintenance and cleaning occupation in the Department of Public Works and involves the performance of a full range of custodial duties in the Town Hall, as well as, various other Town facilities. Essential Job Functions Performs various cleaning tasks on a daily basis or as needed in the Town Hall, Parks and Recreation Building, William A. Humbert Amphitheater, Rockfield Park Comfort Station, Parking Garage elevators and other facilities as assigned. Takes inventory of cleaning supplies and orders supplies as necessary. Assists in snow/ice removal from around Town facilities. Performs other related maintenance duties as assigned. Requirements Requires graduation from high school or GED; possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, and Maryland Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Card); two (2) years of related experience; must be able to demonstrate the principles of safe lifting and have the ability to lift 100 pounds; must be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
