Resident Engineer

Quality on a complex engineering project is built through consistent attention to detail throughout delivery, not simply checked at the end. As Resident Engineer (QA/QC), you will provide dedicated site-based oversight to help ensure engineering and construction activities meet agreed project quality requirements. You will work across disciplines and alongside contractors, consultants and project teams to review works, identify non-conformances and support effective close-out. • Monitor engineering and construction activities against agreed quality requirements and technical information.
• Support inspections and reviews across relevant project disciplines.
• Identify, record and monitor quality issues and non-conformances through to resolution.
• Review documentation and site information for completeness and consistency.
• Coordinate quality matters with contractors, consultants and engineering teams.
• Support technical and quality meetings while maintaining clear records of actions.
• Contribute to a proactive culture of quality and continuous improvement. Essential Skills
• Strong experience in engineering, construction or project quality assurance and control.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Good understanding of inspection, quality control and issue close-out processes.
• Strong attention to detail and structured record keeping.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary project and construction teams.
