French Language Host

French Language Host
- Live Events & 1:1 CoachingRemote | Contract | Easelang Easelang is building an interactive language-learning platform designed around a simple idea: Learn → Practise → Speak. We are looking for an engaging French speaker to become the French Language Host for Easelang. This is not a traditional prerecorded-course teaching role. You will be the face of Easelang's French live experiences: leading interactive online sessions for complete beginners, helping learners start using practical French, introducing them to the Easelang learning experience, and optionally working with learners through paid 1:1 conversation sessions.

What you'll do
You will host approximately 2-hour live French challenges for complete beginners. During each live event, you will:
• welcome and engage learners live on camera;
• teach practical beginner French through interactive challenges;
• help learners practise pronunciation and simple conversations;
• run scenarios such as introductions, café conversations and asking for help;
• invite selected attendees to practise speaking with you live;
• demonstrate how learners can continue learning through Easelang;
• introduce Easelang's complete French course near the end of the event;
• answer common learner questions;
• introduce your Easelang profile for learners interested in paid 1:1 practice. You will not need to create an entire French curriculum from scratch. Easelang provides the structured course, event framework, product information and host playbook. You will have room to bring your own personality, teaching style and examples to the live experience. Who we're looking forYou should have:
• native or bilingual-level French fluency;
• strong spoken English;
• a warm, clear and engaging communication style;
• confidence speaking live on camera;
• an ability to explain French to complete beginners simply;
• patience and positive energy;
• an interactive teaching style rather than a lecture-heavy approach;
• reliable internet, microphone and camera;
• confidence recommending a product you genuinely understand and believe is useful. Previous experience as a French tutor, language teacher, creator, presenter, trainer or conversation coach is valuable, but we care more about how well you communicate and engage beginners than formal qualifications. This role is a good fit if you...
Enjoy making beginners feel comfortable speaking. Can turn a lesson into an interactive experience. Are comfortable improvising when learners make mistakes or ask unexpected questions. Enjoy being on camera. Can explain why a learner should continue learning without sounding like an aggressive salesperson. Would like to build an ongoing audience of learners rather than teach one isolated webinar. CompensationCompensation combines guaranteed event pay with performance upside. For each completed live event: ₹5,000 guaranteed event fee plus 15% commission on qualifying Easelang French course sales attributed to your live event. Commission is calculated from the actual course selling price. For example, when a course is sold for ₹4,000: Your commission = ₹600 per qualifying course sale. You may also be listed as a Polyglot on Easelang, allowing learners to book paid 1:1 French practice sessions with you. For 1:1 sessions, the current proposed split is: 85% to the Language Host / 15% to Easelang. This is intended to be an ongoing partnership, with opportunities to host future French events as Easelang grows. Selection processShortlisted applicants will be invited to a short online audition. There are two simple parts. 1. Five-minute teaching challenge Imagine we know absolutely no French. Teach us enough French in five minutes to order something in a café. 2. Two-minute continuation challenge Imagine we enjoyed your live lesson. Explain naturally why we should continue learning through Easelang's complete French course. We are evaluating:
• communication;
• energy;
• clarity;
• beginner friendliness;
• camera presence;
• interaction;
• improvisation;
• ability to recommend the next step naturally. You do not need to prepare a formal presentation.
